Terms and Conditions of Repairs
Diagnostic Fees
We charge a minimum diagnostic fee of €49 for all work carried out, on all devices. This is fully refundable against further repairs and covers all diagnostic work carried out by our technician, or work prescribed by the customer. This fee is non-refundable if you choose not to go ahead with the repair, if the device is deemed beyond economical repair or if the parts are not available.
Final Quote
We will either quote you verbally or in writing before we go ahead with any work. Once you agree to this quote we will proceed. If you change your mind, please let us know as soon as possible - if we have started the repair, then we will be unable to issue a refund on any work that has already been undertaken.
Liquid Damage
If your device is booked in with liquid damage issues, please note that this is a serious issue that can adversely affect the lifespan of your device. Whilst we very successfully repair many liquid-damaged devices, we do not provide a warranty for this repair as liquid damage can impact many parts of your device and this may not become apparent until a later date.
Passwords
We require the passcode for testing purposes, before and after repairs. If a passcode is refused or forgotten, we cannot be held responsible for issues arising.
Your Data
Please ensure that your valuable data is backed up on an external drive or in the cloud, before booking your device in with us.
Whilst we take the utmost care of your data when your device is with us, we cant be held responsible under any circumstances for the loss or corruption of your data and/or software. When you ask us to transfer data, please note that the data transfer process is not selective, and we can only transfer the total of your available data, not selected parts.
Collection
All devices must be collected within 60 days of repair or diagnostic date or they will be sent to an external recycling facility.
Repairs Warranty
We give a warranty of 90 days from the date of service completion, for problems related to the issue that the device was initially booked in for. Our warranty covers the service work carried out on your device, but there may be an additional extended warranty on parts installed such as hard drives or RAM.
Our repairs warranty does not cover damage as a result of liquid damage repairs, additional physical damage, or tampering.
Data Protection
At Right-Click, we only collect and store data that is relevant to your repair. We don’t share data with 3rd parties and we will only correspond with you in relation to your repair. If your hard drive is compromised/failing, we store its contents securely on our system for up to 1 month, it is then deleted. If you wish your data to be deleted immediately, simply ask.
Our ticketing system stores the data provided by you and our technicians on a password-protected, encrypted site that is stored locally in Ireland. You have the right to access, rectify or remove your data on our ticketing system at any time, but please note that your stored data may be useful if you require future repairs or have warranty issues.
